How the calculation works
Daily hours = shift duration − break. Weekly hours = daily hours × working days. Annual hours = weekly hours × working weeks; monthly average = annual hours ÷ 12.
Example: A 09:00–18:00 shift with a one-hour break, five days a week, is 40 hours a week.
