How the calculation works
(hours per day × days per week × working weeks) − (annual leave days + public holidays) × hours per day. The percentage of the year uses 8,760 hours (365 × 24).
Example: Eight hours a day, five days a week, 52 weeks, minus 25 leave or holiday days, is 1,880 hours.
